About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
At Springwell Ekklesia, we are guided by the teachings of the Tao, embracing the natural flow of the universe as our path to peace, purpose, and community well-being. We seek to live in harmony with the Tao, aligning our actions with principles of balance, compassion, simplicity, and respect for all life.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where family and personal growth are prioritized, and where we embody the values of the Tao in every aspect of our lives. We honour Wu Wei, practicing effortless action in harmony with the natural world, fostering sustainability and environmental stewardship. We live by the principles of balance, recognizing the interconnectedness of all things and fostering relationships rooted in kindness, humility, and respect.
We are committed to creating a simple, uncluttered life free from distractions, where mindfulness, self-reflection, and personal growth are central to our journey. By nurturing our spiritual development through practices like meditation, we foster resilience and adaptability, allowing us to embrace change with openness and wisdom.
At Springwell Ekklesia, we uphold the importance of holistic education, teaching our children and community members the values of natural living, ethical responsibility, and environmental stewardship. We foster an inclusive, respectful community, honouring diversity and encouraging collaboration for the collective well-being.
We affirm the importance of financial harmony and personal autonomy in making decisions related to health, wellness, and the stewardship of land and resources. We support the freedom of individuals to make informed choices for themselves, their families, and their land, guided by a deep respect for the balance of life.
Our mission extends to ensuring that every individual has the right to travel, explore, and grow, recognizing the transformative power of experiencing the world and its diversity. We honour the interconnectedness of all beings and advocate for peaceful coexistence and non-violence, upholding the Taoist values of compassion, harmony, and ethical living.
Together, we strive to live with purpose, contributing to the well-being of our community, our planet, and the generations to come, in alignment with the eternal rhythms of the Tao.

Kelly's Journey
After welcoming our first child, we experienced the private struggles of secondary infertility. Having worked in the health industry for my entire career, I felt I had a fairly strong grounding in my knowledge and practice of healthy living, but something was seriously missing. In an attempt to understand about our bodies and health, I dived deeply into understanding more about building biology, where I quickly discovered the extreme importance of our lived environment. This lead to us moving to a new community in a semi-rural environment and removing all chemicals from our home and property. We addressed many things; water quality, nnEMF’s, VOC’s, food nutrient density, light quality and building materiality. For over a decade, we have transformed how and where we live. After 5 years, we joyfully expanded our family. As part of our growing awareness of doing things differently, I sold my business that I had started 23 years earlier and we bought a farm. Having autonomy over the food that we consume and the responsibility to our environment to be stewards of the land where our family and the broader community can gather and learn, has been my focus for the past 4 years. For the past couple of years, I have spent more time understanding biodynamics, Human Design, astrology and spirituality and it feels amazing to begin the journey of Springwell Ekklesia. It feels like it’s been a 'gradually, then suddenly' arrival, and I’m excited to share our learnings, gatherings and give back to community after I have been gifted such personal joy.
